TurboChef's first oven was a product of the imagination and ingenuity
of one engineer and one mathematician with a few parts in their garage,
and the challenge of achieving a simple idea - cook faster
without compromising quality. From those basic ingredients, a revolutionary
product was born. The first TurboChef ovens were adopted by pioneering
chefs who found they could make their signature creations with the quality
their discerning patrons demanded, and with the speed their busy kitchens

One sentiment was expressed over and over again by everyone that experienced

Well, so did we. With this nearly unanimous request in mind, we set out to
design the perfect tool for the home chef, whether they cooked every day,
only on the weekends, or once a year. We talked to hundreds of people with
a wide range of cooking experience on topics ranging from design, to usability,
to the most desirable performance and feature set an oven could offer. The
result is a signature oven unlike any other.
