ingredients
Filling
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 pkg. gravy mix (follow pack directions on back)
- 1/2 lb Baby Bella sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 CUP DICED ONIONS
- 1 tbsp.olive oil
- 1-12 oz bag frozen peas and carrots
- salt and pepper to taste
Mash potatoes
- 2 each russet potatoes peel end cubed
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 tbsp. butter
- salt and pepper as needed
directions
Filling
- heat oil in saute pan and add ground beef, onions , salt and pepper
- saute until all pink is cooked out of beef and drain
- mix in gravy, peas and carrots
- evenly portion into 6 buttered ramekins, top with mash potatoes
Mash potatoes
- boil potatoes until done, and drain
- add warm milk, butter, and salt and pepper
- mash and top beef filling for cottage pie
